Prequisites


    Prerequisite science coursework must have been completed within five years prior to admission.
General Biology and/or Zoology with Laboratory
General Chemistry with Laboratory
Organic Chemistry with Laboratory
General Physics with Laboratory
Biochemistry (2 quarters or 1 semester)
English Composition

International Students
A minimum of one full academic year (24 semester or 36 quarter units) must be completed in an accredited college or university in the United States, earning a grade of C or above in each course. Science prerequisites and one year of English must be completed in the United States. Prior to admission and regardless of nationality or citizenship, an applicant whose native language is not English is required to pass a test of English proficiency. DAT
Each applicant is required to take the DAT within two years prior to application. Test scores must be received before the application is given consideration by the Committee. Preference is given to those who complete the test and have scores sent to LLU no later than October 1. Test results must be sent directly to Admissions Processing from the American Dental Association.


Cost of Attendance for the First Year


    The costs for the 2009 - 2010 academic year for this program are as follows. These
    are the budget amounts for full time attendance and living off campus, which is the
    most common situation. Budget amounts for part time attendance and/or living in the
    dorm or with relatives are somewhat different.
